The Executive Council is pleased to announce that Luis Gonzalez will be honored at this year's Champion's Dinner and Auction on April 10th as our 2010 Champion of the Year.
One of the most popular figures in Arizona Diamondbacks’ history, Luis Gonzalez continues to make an impact in the community with the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation. Along with supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix he also interacts with children at the team’s Training Center camps and in its annual week-long fantasy camp. Gonzalez currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Baseball Assistance Team (BAT). A very active youth member of the Tampa Boys & Girls Clubs while growing up, Gonzalez now lives in Scottsdale with his wife and children.
